Who Tasks is for

For anyone whose backlog contains an item they have carried for three weeks because it is too vague to begin. Tasks is aimed squarely at that card — the one that says "fix onboarding" and has never once been picked up.

What Tasks does

Tasks is a column-and-card board with priorities, due dates and per-task comment threads. What separates it from every other board is the AI breakdown: hand it a goal that is too large to start and it returns concrete subtasks, streaming them as they are generated so you can see the shape forming rather than watching a spinner. Breakdown works in English and Indonesian. A calendar view reads the same tasks by due date, so the board and the schedule cannot disagree.

How Tasks works

   Build the board

   Create columns that match how you actually work, then add cards with priority and due dates.

   Break down what you are avoiding

   Pick the card that is too big to start and run AI breakdown. Subtasks stream in as they are generated.

   Discuss in place

   Each task carries its own comment thread, so context about a decision lives on the task rather than in your memory.

   Check the calendar view

   The same tasks, read by due date, so a board that looks manageable and a week that is not become visible.

What Tasks does not do

Tasks is personal, not a team tracker: there are no assignees, no shared boards, no permissions and no sprint ceremonies. It does not sync with Jira, Asana or Linear. AI breakdown proposes subtasks and nothing else — it will not estimate, prioritise or schedule for you, because a confident estimate from a model that has never done the work is a fabrication with a number attached.
