Claims
Check your copy against your own policy: which claims match it and which promise more.
Jalaran Claims reads your own marketing copy beside your own policy or terms and marks each claim the copy makes as matching the policy, promising more, not covered or unclear, quoting the policy line it rests on where there is one.
Who Claims is for
For founders, marketers and small teams who write their own copy and their own policies, often months apart, and want to know where the two have drifted before a customer notices. It earns its keep just before a launch, a pricing change or a policy update.
What Claims does
Marketing copy tends to promise in absolutes while a policy hedges, and the gap between them is where complaints start. Claims splits your copy into the claims it makes, sets each one beside the policy text you pasted, and gives it one of four verdicts. A match has to rest on a line of your policy quoted word for word, so a verdict can never lean on a sentence your policy does not contain. Where a claim promises more than the policy commits to, or the policy says nothing about it, Claims suggests a rewrite that aims to stay within the policy, for you to check before you copy it: a quoted line is checked against your policy word for word, a rewrite is not. Sentences with absolute wording such as never, always, guaranteed or 100% are tagged, in English and Indonesian. Your copy and policy text are processed on Jalaran's own servers, never by a third-party AI service, and each check stays in your account until you delete it.
- Four verdicts per claim: matches, promises more, not covered, unclear
- Every match backed by a policy line quoted word for word
- Suggested rewrites to check, one click to copy
- Absolute wording tagged in English and Indonesian
How Claims works
Paste your copy
A landing page, an app store listing, an ad or an email: the text people actually read.
Paste your policy or terms
The sections your copy should agree with, such as privacy, refunds, data or security, exactly as written.
Read each verdict
Claims that promise more or are not covered come first, each with the policy line quoted where one applies.
Copy the rewrites you want
A suggested version of each claim that needs one: check it against your policy, then paste it back into your copy.
What Claims does not do
Claims compares two texts and nothing else. It does not say whether a claim or a policy is lawful, it is not legal advice, and it knows nothing about your product beyond what you paste. A match only means your policy text says the same thing; it does not mean either is true. It reads up to 2,000 characters of copy and 6,000 of policy at a time, and judges up to 10 claims in one check, so long copy or a long policy is best checked section by section. Like any language model it can misread a sentence or suggest a rewrite your policy does not back, which is why a verdict shows the policy line it rests on wherever there is one, and why a rewrite is yours to check before you use it.
Common questions
- Does Claims tell me whether my copy is legal?
- No. It compares your copy with the policy text you paste and shows where they differ. Whether either is lawful is a question for a lawyer, and Claims says so on every check.
- Why does a match need a quote?
- So you can check it yourself. A match is shown only when a line of your own policy, quoted word for word, says the same thing; without one the claim is marked unclear.
- Can I check Indonesian copy?
- Yes. Copy and policy text can be in English or Indonesian, and absolute wording such as dijamin, selalu or tanpa batas is tagged too.
