Who Invest is for

For Indonesian retail investors holding positions across more than one broker, where no single app shows the whole picture and the cost basis after several partial buys is genuinely fiddly to work out by hand.

What Invest does

Invest records transactions — buys, sells, dividends — and computes weighted-average cost basis from them, which is the number most people get wrong after a few partial purchases and the number that determines what a gain actually is. Realised and unrealised gain are shown separately, since only one of them is real. Prices are entered manually, and commentary is descriptive only: it describes your positions and never suggests a trade.

How Invest works

What Invest does not do

Invest is not a brokerage and cannot trade. There is no price feed and no broker integration, so prices and transactions are entered manually — a real limitation, and also what keeps it a deliberate record rather than a live ticker to watch. It is not an advisor: commentary describes your positions and never recommends action. It is not tax software either; Indonesian tax obligations are Pajak’s scope.
