Habit
Jalaran Habit tracks daily, weekday or weekly habits with streaks that understand the schedule, so a weekly habit is not broken by a Tuesday you were never supposed to do it.
Who Habit is for
For anyone who has abandoned a habit tracker because it declared a streak broken on a day they had deliberately taken off. A tracker that punishes you for following your own schedule teaches you to ignore it.
What Habit does
Habit supports three cadences — daily, weekdays only, and weekly — and the streak logic understands each of them, which sounds trivial and is the reason most habit trackers get quietly abandoned. A weekly habit done once a week is a perfect streak, not six misses. Habits can link to the Goal objective they serve, which is what turns a daily action into something visibly connected to the quarter it is meant to advance.

How Habit works
Define the cadence honestly
Daily, weekdays, or weekly. Choosing daily for something you intend to do twice a week is how trackers get abandoned.
Check in
A single action. Anything more elaborate becomes friction, and friction ends habits.
Watch the streak respect the schedule
A weekly habit done once a week is a full streak. Missing a scheduled day is what breaks it.
Link it to an objective
Optionally connect a habit to the Goal objective it serves, so the daily action and the quarterly aim are visibly related.
What Habit does not do
Habit records what you tell it — there is no phone sensor, no app integration and no automatic detection, so a check-in is an honesty system. It has no reminders or notifications, so it will not chase you. And a streak is a motivational device, not evidence: a hundred-day streak of a habit you do badly is still a habit you do badly.
Common questions
Why do cadence-aware streaks matter?
Because a tracker that breaks your streak on a day you were never scheduled to act is training you to distrust it. A weekly habit done weekly is a perfect record, and the streak should say so.
Will it remind me?
No. There are no notifications or reminders. It records; the showing up is yours.
Does it detect habits automatically from my phone?
No. There is no sensor or app integration. Check-ins are manual, which makes it an honesty system.
