Who Quiz is for

For anyone about to sit an exam who wants to know now whether they understand something, rather than in three weeks when spaced repetition gets round to it. Rereading notes feels like studying and mostly is not; being asked is the test.

What Quiz does

Quiz generates questions from Vault notes, Draft documents or pasted text and grades them straight away — multiple choice mechanically, short answers by model, which matters because writing an answer from nothing is a far stronger test than recognising one among four. Where Flash schedules recall over weeks, Quiz tests you right now, and score history per topic shows where you are genuinely weak rather than where you feel uncertain.

How Quiz works

What Quiz does not do

Short-answer grading is a language-model judgement and can be wrong in both directions — it will occasionally mark a correct answer down for unusual phrasing, so treat a surprising score as worth arguing with. Questions can only test what the source material contains, and thin notes produce shallow questions. Quiz tests now and does not schedule; long-term retention is Flash.
