CV

Jalaran CV builds a CV that survives applicant tracking software, rewriting duties as achievements and exporting a clean recruiter-ready document.

Who CV is for

For anyone whose CV describes what they were responsible for rather than what changed because they were there — which is nearly everyone’s first draft. Also for anyone who has been silently filtered out by parsing software and never found out why.

What CV does

CV helps you rewrite each line from a duty into an achievement, which is the single change that most affects how a CV reads, and formats the document so applicant tracking software can actually parse it. The formatting constraint is real and unglamorous: multi-column layouts, tables, text boxes and graphics are exactly what parsers mangle, so the export is deliberately plain. Projects documented in Portfolio can be pushed straight in rather than rewritten from memory.

How CV works

  1. Bring in your history

Roles, dates and what you did. Projects can be pushed in directly from Portfolio.

  2. Turn duties into achievements

AI rewrites each line toward outcome and evidence, which is the change that most affects how a CV reads.

  3. Keep the formatting parseable

Plain structure by design — the layouts that look impressive are the ones that parsing software mangles.

  4. Export the DOCX

A clean document ready to attach, editable in any word processor.

What CV does not do

CV will not invent experience, and if you feed it thin material it produces a thin CV — no rewrite compensates for an achievement that did not happen. It exports DOCX rather than a designed PDF, deliberately: a visually striking CV is the one parsers fail on. It does not tailor per application automatically; use Skill to see what a specific job description wants and edit accordingly. There is no LinkedIn import.

Common questions

Why does it not produce a designed, visual CV?

Because designed CVs are what applicant tracking software fails to parse. Columns, tables and graphics routinely come out scrambled, and a beautiful document nobody can read costs you the application.

Will it make my experience sound better than it is?

It rewrites duties into achievements using what you give it. It does not invent outcomes, and thin input produces a thin CV — which is honest, if unwelcome.

Does it tailor the CV to a specific job?

Not automatically. Run Skill against the job description to see which competencies it wants and what you are missing, then edit accordingly.
