Case
Jalaran Case runs mock technical and case interviews as an actual back-and-forth, then scores how you did with specific feedback.
Who Case is for
For engineers preparing for interviews who have read all the advice and still fall apart when someone asks a follow-up question. Reading about structured thinking and doing it out loud under time pressure are different skills, and only one of them can be practised.
What Case does
Case generates a realistic scenario, then conducts the interview as a conversation — it asks, you answer, it probes the weak part of your answer the way an interviewer does. Afterwards it scores the session and tells you specifically where the reasoning thinned out, rather than giving you a grade and leaving you to guess. The point is repetition against something that pushes back, which is the part solo preparation cannot provide.
- Generated technical and case scenarios
- Real back-and-forth with follow-up questions
- Scored feedback pointing at specific weaknesses
- Unlimited repetition against a fresh scenario
How Case works
Pick the scenario
A realistic technical or case scenario generated for the kind of role you are interviewing for.
Work through it out loud
A genuine back-and-forth. Follow-up questions land where your reasoning was thinnest, which is the useful part.
Get scored
Performance scored with specific feedback on where the structure held and where it did not.
Run it again
The value is in repetition. A second attempt at the same scenario is where the improvement shows up.
What Case does not do
Case is an AI interviewer, not a human one — it will not read your hesitation, notice you talking too fast, or replicate the specific pressure of a real panel. It does not know a given company’s actual interview format or bar. Scores are directional feedback for practice, not a prediction of whether you will pass. For behavioural rather than technical questions, Interview is the module built for that.
Common questions
How is this different from Interview?
Case handles technical and case-style problems — the ones with a scenario to reason through. Interview handles behavioural questions and scores answers against the STAR structure. Most people preparing properly use both.
Will it match my target company’s format?
Not specifically. It generates realistic scenarios for a role type, but it does not know a particular company’s loop or bar. For company-specific preparation, Intel builds the research brief.
Is the score predictive of the real outcome?
No. It is directional feedback to practise against. The value is in having something that asks follow-up questions, not in the number.
