Network

Jalaran Network tracks the people in your professional network — how warm each relationship is, when you last spoke, and what outreach you owe them.

Who Network is for

For people who know referrals matter and are bad at maintaining relationships, which is most engineers. If you have ever messaged someone only when you needed something and felt the awkwardness of it, that is the specific problem this addresses.

What Network does

Where Apply tracks the employer pipeline — company, stage, outcome — Network tracks the people, because a referral comes from a person and not from a job board. Contacts sit on a warmth board reflecting how live the relationship actually is, each with a timeline of your interactions, and a contact can link to the application it relates to. It drafts outreach messages, which you then edit into something that sounds like you before sending.

  • Warmth board across your contacts
  • Interaction timeline per person
  • AI-drafted outreach messages
  • Contacts link to the Apply entry they relate to

How Network works

  1. Add the people who matter

Former colleagues, people you met at events, anyone who might one day be a referral.

  2. Track warmth honestly

The board reflects how live each relationship really is, which is uncomfortable and useful in equal measure.

  3. Log interactions

A per-person timeline, so "when did I last actually talk to this person" is a fact rather than a guess.

  4. Draft outreach, then rewrite it

AI produces a starting draft; you make it sound like you. A message that reads as generated does more harm than no message.

What Network does not do

Network does not connect to LinkedIn or any social platform — there is no contact import, no automatic enrichment and no activity feed, so contacts are added by you. It will not send messages: drafts are drafts, and outreach goes out from your own account in your own words. It has no view of whether someone actually opened anything, because it is not in the sending path at all.

Common questions

Does it import my LinkedIn connections?

No. There is no LinkedIn or social platform integration. Contacts are added deliberately, which tends to produce a list of people you actually have a relationship with rather than several hundred you do not.

Does it send the outreach messages?

No. It drafts; you edit and send from your own account. An unedited generated message is worse than none, so the module stops at the draft on purpose.

How does it relate to Apply?

Apply tracks employers and stages; Network tracks the people who produce a referral. A contact can link to the specific application it relates to, so the person and the opportunity stay connected.
